Robb Long shoots extensive healthcare library of real people for Minneapolis Hospital!

I was brought in to shoot an extensive photography library of real people, real physician/patient interaction, for HCMC Hospital in downtown Minneapolis, MN. The client wanted to utilize my talents at capturing real people in decisive moments, no camera awareness, and both the client and I feel we captured just that. These are just a few out of the hundreds of images created for the hospital’s library.

I love Library shoots especially when they are for hospitals, as it's a much faster pace, taking me back to when I was a photojournalist for many years and under tons of pressure racing around with just me and my camera. I love the challenge and speed required. These are real physicians that can't give up too much time to get photographed. There is no waiting around for the lighting to be right or hair and makeup to step in to make adjustments. I’m grateful that I know how to adjust for the lighting and composition in split seconds. It truly is a rush that I thrive in, and I look forward to more hospital shoots in the future". To view more of Robb's work visit www.rlimaging.com

Honored to have my work in the Italian American Baseball Exhibit!!!

Honored to have my work displayed among some of the best sports artists on the planet. I'm not Italian American but they really thought my photo of Nick Punto captured the essence of him being part of the Piranhas when he was with the Twins.
They will be showcasing a life size print of my Nick Punto portrait!!!
If you scroll down you'll find my name at the very bottom of the story, lol. http://mlbforlife.com/2013/08/10/james-fiorentino-contributes-to-italian-american-baseball-exhibit-in-san-diegos-little-italy/

"It is such an honor to be selected among some of the best photographers across the globe. The cool thing about this is that The Libertine for Fulton Beer poster’s still aspect was strong enough to be a Nominee.  This still is just one aspect of the Living Art process I've been working on for years. The still being recognized as the beginning of a Living Art Poster, the viewer looks at the still photo and then it starts to move, it comes to life. The Brewery used the still photo for print ads as well as on it's website that showcases the living poster. So my process not only allows for print but for use in digital media as well,” said Robb Long

Here is the video of the Living Art Poster as described above :
